What to personal data?

According to Art. 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 9 (GDPR), personal data are defined as:

"Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;”.

Collection of personal data

The following types of personal information may be collected, stored and used:

  • information about your computer, including your IP address, geographic location, type and version of your browser, and operating system;
  • information about your visits and use of this website, including the reference source, duration of the visit, page views and website navigation;
  • information such as your name or email address that you enter when sending an inquiry;
  • information generated while using our website, including when, how often and under what circumstances you use it;
  • information contained in any communication with us sent to us by email or through our website, including the content of the communication and metadata;
  • any other personal information you send us.

Before disclosing another person's personal information to us, you must obtain their consent to this disclosure and to the processing of this personal information in accordance with this policy.

Use of personal data

Personal information submitted to us through our website will be used for the purposes specified in this policy or in the relevant pages of the website. We may use your personal information to:

A&A Accounting will process (collect, store and use) the information provided by you in a manner compatible with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Personal Data Protection Act in force in the country. We will strive to keep the information accurate and up to date.

We will not store the information about you for longer than is reasonably necessary to fulfill the specific purposes for which it was collected and for which you have been notified here.

Some of the retention periods of information depend on legal obligations to keep documents and information within certain minimum time limits, such as the Accounting Act or the Anti-Money Laundering Measures Act. We will take all foreseeable technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of your data from unauthorized access, such as encryption, anonymization, disguise and deletion after the expiration of the storage period.

Disclosure of personal data

We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, insurers, professional advisors, agents, suppliers or subcontractors as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. We may disclose your personal information:

  • to the extent that we are required to do so by law;
  • in connection with any litigation or probable legal proceedings;
  • to establish, exercise or protect our rights (including providing information to others for fraud prevention purposes);
  • to the buyer (or potential buyer) for any business or asset that we sell (or intend to sell);
  • to any person we believe may appear before a court or other similar body for the disclosure of that personal information, where, in our reasonable opinion, such a court or authority may order the disclosure of that personal information.

Except as explained in this policy, we will not provide your personal information to third parties.

International data transfers

A&A Accounting does not intend to transfer your personal data to third parties without first informing you and obtaining your consent. Data transfer outside the EU can only take place to companies that have signed the Privacy Shield.

Retention of personal data

A&A Accounting will store your personal data for a period of 5 years.

Protection of personal data

  • We will take reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
  • We will store all personal information you provide to our secure (password and firewall protected) servers.
  • You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the Internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted over the Internet.

Changes

Updates to this policy are possible by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page to make sure you understand any policy changes. We may notify you of changes to this policy by sending you an email.

Your rights

At any time while storing or processing your personal data, you, as a data subject, have the following rights, which you can exercise by informing us at smart_accounting@abv.bg.

  • You have the right to request a copy of your personal data from A&A Accounting and the right to access your personal data at any time;
  • You have the right to request from A&A Accounting your personal data in a form convenient for transfer to another personal data controller, or to ask us to do so without being hindered by us;
  • You have the right to ask A&A Accounting to correct, without undue delay, your inaccurate personal data as well as data that is no longer up to date;
  • You have the right to request that A&A Accounting delete your personal data without undue delay if any of the following reasons exist:
    • personal data are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were collected;
    • when you have withdrawn your consent;
    • when you objected to the processing;
    • when the processing is illegal;
    • where personal data must be deleted in order to comply with a legal obligation under EU law or the law of a Member State that applies to us as a controller of personal data;
    • when personal data have been collected in connection with the provision of information society services.
  • We have the right to refuse to delete your personal data for the following reasons:
    • in exercising the right to freedom of expression and the right to information;
    • for compliance with a legal obligation on our part or for the performance of a task of public interest;
    • for reasons of public interest in the field of public health;
    • for archiving purposes in the public interest, for statistical purposes, in so far as the erasure is likely to make it impossible or seriously impede the achievement of the purposes of such processing;
    • or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • You have the right to ask A&A Accounting to restrict the processing of your personal data, in which case the data will only be stored but not processed. Our refusal to limit will be explicit only in writing, and we are obliged to motivate it with the lawful reason;
  • You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time with a separate request addressed to A&A Accounting;
  • You have the right to object to certain types of processing, such as direct marketing (unsolicited advertising);
  • You have the right to object to automated processing, including profiling;
  • You have the right not to be the subject of a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling;
  • If we need to use your personal data for a new purpose that is not covered by this privacy notice, we will provide you with a new notification when and, where necessary, we will request your prior consent for the new processing.

Third party websites

If our website includes hyperlinks to third-party websites, we have no control over and are not responsible for their privacy policies and practices.

Cookies
